We have had a wonderful last couple of days so far! This past weekend we went out to eat for my dad's birthday! We went to Ricatoni's which is a GREAT Italian restaurant with yummy food! After we ate,we then went and walked around downtown where the Handy Festival was going on.




Monday we went to a Paul McCartney concert with Caleb's family in Nashville! We had a great day! This was mine and Caleb's first time to see him and we thought it was awesome! Caleb said he is an official fan now! haha



Caleb has always had really bad allergies and does not do well outside and especially cutting the grass! A couple of months ago, he went to the doctor and got tested to see what all he was really allergic to! They told him basically anything outside! He started taking shots two days a week and he is doing so much better! He still has a way to go but yesterday he was able to finally cut our grass! He was SO excited! He had his Ipod in and I could hear him singing over the lawnmower, inside the house! It was to funny! I just had to take a picture, because he was so happy!

I was walking through our house this morning and I was reminded as I looked at an Uppercase sticker on our wall of how awesome the God we serve is!




It has been so awesome to see how God has provided each of our needs since we have been married! When we think we might stuggle a little here or there, GOD PROVIDES! Caleb and I both recieved a gift yesterday that was MUCH needed and we praised God for him richly blessing our lives! I was also reminded of the wonderful song by Chris Tomlin, "Our God is Greater"!

Wonderful Week

We have had a wonderful but busy week! I have been able to hang out with some great friends this week and I have also gotten a lot done on our home! Today is a BIG day for Caleb and I. Today was Caleb's last day of college! He is officially an engineer now! He will receive his actual degree on August 3 and then he will walk with his classmates in December! We are soooo excited and cannot wait to see what God has planned for us! I am so proud of him and his big accomplishment!

I also wanted to wish two special men in my life a very happy birthday! Tomorrow is my dad's birthday! He is the best day in the world and I hope he has a wonderful day! I don't think there could be a more humble person than him! Happy Birthday Dad! I love you!

Saturday is my Papa's birthday! Papa is the only grandad that I have and Caleb does not have a grandad still living either so Papa is very special to both of us! This is a picture of my papa and granny! Happy birthday Papa! We love you!

" Girls Just Want to Have Fun"

Today was a GREAT Day! My sweet friends Blake, Brandi, and Hannah came and we were all able to lay out/swim and just get to hang out and catch up with each other. We cannot believe we have been graduated 4 years already! It goes by so fast! I am so thankful for the wonderful friends that God has put into my life and I cherish every chance I am able to spend with them!

1 MONTH!

Caleb and I have been married 1 month today! We cannot believe how fast it has flown by! We are having so much fun being husband and wife and cannot wait to see what God has in store for our future! Today has been a fun day! This morning I received a sweet note from Caleb that made my day! For lunch I met my sweet friend Amy for lunch! Amy, her husband Tommy, and a team of people from our church will be leaving Wednesday for South Africa!Please be in prayer for them for a safe trip and that many souls will be saved!

Tonight Caleb and I went out to eat to celebrate our 1 month anniversary and we had a wonderful time! We are so thankful for the wonderful month that God has given us and we pray we have many, many, many more!!

Name Change and New Dishes!

We have had a very busy week so far!! We have had work, shopping, doctor visits, and I have been in the process of getting my name changed to Kayla Gooch! So exciting! We are very excited it is almost the weekend and my dad and the Ukraine team will be home on Saturday night! Dad has been so excited about how things have been going and they have had lots of children at each camp. Most importantly around 25 children have prayed and accepted Jesus into their hearts! Please be in prayer for the team as they will be making their way make to the states!

At the beginning of this week mom and I went to Dillard's to purchase the rest of my everyday dishes and china! I absolutely love them both! My everyday dishes are Daniel Cremieux and they are an off white color! Caleb really likes the deep bowls for his cereal in the morning!


While we were there we found these cool Silicone Oven Mitts! They are the neatest thing and they come in all these fun colors! I think I may have to go back and get me some!


We also wanted to share a couple of pictures with you guys that my uncle made. He took Caleb and I out to some different places about a week ago to do more wedding pictures and we had so much fun! Here are just a FEW!
( It was so much fun to be able to get all dressed up and wear my dress again!)

I have a lot to post about today and could not think of a good title so I just decided to make it short and simple. First of all, I wanted to ask you guys to pray for my dad and the mission team from my church. They left out yesterday morning to travel to the Ukraine to share the gospel and do Backyard Bible clubs for a week. Caleb and I went with the team last year and were upset we could not go this year but with the wedding and everything still being so busy we were not able to travel with them this time. We are already praying where God will have us go for our next mission trip and this time as HUSBAND AND WIFE! We our praying for many souls to be saved this week and for God to be glorified!


June 19, 2010 was the happiest day of our lives and it is a day I NEVER want to forget! The day was absolutely perfect! The day started out sort of rocky with lots and lots of rain while dad and I were on our way to church! I just cried and cried on the way to church just praying it would stop raining by 4:00! When we arrived at church around 10:00, dad said let me stop and pray for you and he did! He prayed for the rain to hold off for the wedding and for the day to be just what Caleb and I wanted and our prayers were answered! A little after lunch the rain had completely stopped and it was beautiful for the rest of the day! We anticipated when 4:00 would arrive! We were able to get ready with our closest friends and family and just enjoy talking and hanging out! The ceremony was everything we had ever wanted! Pastor Lance opened the ceremony and spoke for a few minutes and did wonderful! We love Pastor Lance so much and could not have imagined not having him be a part of our special day! Caleb and I both remember the ceremony and our vows so well! Pastor Tim, our wonderful pastor, was so personal and made it so special for both of us! At that very moment Caleb and I made our covenant to our Lord and Savior to be together,to cherish and love each other, until death do us part! After our vows Caleb sung to me a beautiful song called "Better Today"! He did a WONDERFUL job and I could not have been happier as I stood and listened to him say the words of the song so intently to ME! I am so blessed to have the best husband ever and wake up every morning humbled at the thought of how good God has been to Caleb and I. We are so blessed and I pray we NEVER get over what we each have in one another. After the ceremony we headed to the reception which was absolutely gorgeous! The reception was so much fun and we were able to have our first dance as husband and wife! I was also able to dance with my dad to "I'll Always Be Your Baby" and it will be a time I will never forget! After the reception is was time to leave and head to HAWAII for our honeymoon! I was going to post pictures of our wedding, but my computer is not wanting to upload the pictures so I wil try again later!

Loving Married Life!

This is our very first post!! I started reading blogs about a year ago and loved it! I was able to get so many neat decorating ideas, recipes, and many other tips! Caleb and I decided to start our own blog to be able to share with family and friends some of our daily adventures as newlyweds! Our blog still needs a lot of work but I decided to go ahead and write our first post! Caleb and I have been married 18 days today!! We are loving married life! We have not stopped since arriving back from our honeymoon,so please be patience with us as we will try to post as much as we can! I will be posting pictures of our wedding and honeymoon over the next week!
